Care Closet

​

The idea is simple: we're going to collect donations of clothes, shoes, and other items and allow youth who need them to come visit the closet. These donations will be made at schools and community centers around the city, and will be available to all students. The goal is not just to provide clothing for those who can't afford it or don't have access to it, but also to help reduce barriers for students so they can focus on learning.

We are so excited about this project because we've seen firsthand how hard it is for students who don't have access to basic necessities like clean clothes to focus on their learning. We want everyone in our education system—especially the most vulnerable students—to get the support they need in order to succeed academically and beyond.
